JJHA Property Management LLC (“we,” “us”) is a private, family-held company. This website is informational, and the applications we operate exist solely to administer the properties, households, and financial affairs of one family. We do not offer services to the public, we do not advertise, and we have no commercial interest in anyone's personal information. This policy describes what little we collect and how we handle it.
Scope
This policy covers this website (www.jjhafamily.com) and the internal applications operated by JJHA Property Management LLC for family members and authorized household staff, including the systems through which family members may connect financial accounts.
Information we collect
- On this website: nothing. The public site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and uses no tracking technologies. If you email us, we receive what you send.
- In our internal applications: account information for authorized users (name, email address, sign-in credentials handled by our identity provider), and the household and financial records those users create in the course of the family's own administration.
- Financial account data via Plaid: when an authorized family member chooses to connect a financial account, we access account information — such as account balances, transactions, and account details — through Plaid Inc. (“Plaid”), a service that connects financial institutions to applications.
How we use Plaid
We use Plaid to retrieve financial account information that family members choose to link, solely for the family's own internal financial administration, record-keeping, and reporting. By connecting a financial account through our applications, you acknowledge that your information will be processed by Plaid in accordance with the Plaid End User Privacy Policy. We never see or store the credentials you use at your financial institution; those are provided directly to Plaid.
How we use information
Information in our systems is used only to administer the family's affairs: managing households and properties, keeping financial records, and producing reports for family members. We do not use personal information for advertising or marketing of any kind.
What we share
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except:
- service providers that operate parts of our systems on our instruction (such as Plaid for financial account connectivity, and our hosting and email providers), each bound to use the information only to provide their service;
- professional advisors engaged by the family (such as accountants or attorneys), where necessary;
- where required by law.
Security
All connections to our website and applications are encrypted in transit. Access to internal applications is restricted to named, authenticated family members and authorized staff, with access rights scoped by role. Sensitive records are segregated with database-level access controls so that a given part of the system can reach only the data it needs.
Retention and deletion
We keep records as long as they are needed for the family's administration and to meet legal and tax obligations. An authorized user may disconnect a linked financial account at any time, and may request deletion of information we hold about them by emailing info@jjhafamily.com. You may also manage connections your financial data has to Plaid through the Plaid Portal.
Children
This website is not directed at children, and our applications do not knowingly collect information from children except household records maintained by their own family.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the revised version at this address with a new effective date.
